COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES AND PROTOCOLS

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BAFT will be implementing enhanced health and safety protocols for all in-person projects and activities. Please review this document before registering.

*BAFT STAFF AND INSTRUCTORS HAVE BEEN FULLY VACCINATED*

PRE-SCREENING

  • All staff, instructors, and students should monitor their health (including temperature and any signs of illness) for 14 days prior to the first day of any in-person activity. Any person exhibiting any signs of illness during this time period may not participate in BAFT programming.

  • Any person who may be high-risk should consult their doctor before enrolling.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT

  • No person may enter the BAFT facility until they have been checked in.

  • All persons MUST wear a face mask during check-in/check out, which will take place outside on the BAFT porch

  • Each person will undergo a basic health screening before the start of each day of their enrolled activity.  A staff member will do a daily symptom check for all persons (temperature with contactless thermometer, self-evaluation for signs of illness) before entering the building.

ENTERING THE BUILDING

  • All persons must wash their hands for a full 20 seconds upon entering the building. Sinks for hand-washing are located in the lobby and each of the two restrooms.

  • We are instituting a “no physical contact policy” for all (no hand shaking, fist bumps, hugging, high fives, etc.). This is applicable before, during, and after all BAFT in-person activities.

INDOOR HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS: PREVENTING THE SPREAD

  • Unless circumstances permit otherwise, all persons must wear a mask at all times. Masks must cover both the nose and mouth.

  • Reasonable social distancing will be incorporated.

  • The BAFT lobby, restrooms, and studios will be disinfected before and after each in-personal activity in accordance with CDC disinfection guidelines.

  • Hand sanitizing dispensers will be in high visibility in the lobby and studios.

  • All persons must wash their hands for a full 20 seconds at the beginning and end of any break.

  • No person may share or pass materials of any kind (food/water, pencils, folders/scripts, hats, clothing, props)

  • All persons should avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Most importantly, if you or anyone you live/work with are experiencing symptoms of illness of ANY kind (headache, body ache, fatigue, coughing, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, etc.) you must stay home.

Thank you for your cooperation!

Sincerely,

The BAFT Team
